Rechon has been under the ownership of Chinese pharmaceuticals company Dongbao since January 1, 2007.
Dongbao is one of China’s largest manufacturers and distributors of insulin. The company has grown rapidly since the 1980s and invests heavily in state-of-the-art technology – notably R&D resources and modern production facilities.
Dongbao covers the entire pharmaceutical spectrum, from traditional Chinese herb medicines to conventional small-molecule pharmaceuticals and cutting-edge bio-pharmaceuticals.
Dongbao is looking to expand in Europe, using the Rechon Group as a European base for development, manufacturing, distribution and trading.
